CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOPS
IN TUSCANY

July 8-15, 2007 (7 days, 6 nights)
What
We Offer
Art
and Culture Odysseys combines the best of two
worlds: Our writing workshops will encourage you to find your creative
voice in storytelling by generating ideas through poems, short stories and
creative non-fiction, while offering you ample time to familiarize
yourselves with the cultural riches and the stunning landscapes around you.
Organized tours and local guest speakers and guides complement the workshop
experience.

We are

individual through writing and travel. We live and work in the United States and Europe.
We are committed to supporting each participant’s exploration and

What
We Do
While
other writing workshops may have many participants, ours are strictly
limited to a maximum of 12 who will be working with several writers. In
this way, we are able to offer small group sessions and at least 20 contact
hours in a workshop setting. No experience is necessary beyond the desire
to learn and be creative in a tranquil and friendly environment. Each day
we will alternate between the creative writing workshop and historical,
cultural and literary tours. On these tours we will explore the artistic
treasures of Florence and discover the
sublime beauty of Tuscany.
Where
We Are
For summer
2007, we are offering two writing workshops in Tuscany,
where we will focus on the writing of poetry, short fiction, and creative
nonfiction, and share in the delights of Florence’s
works of creative genius as well as in the beauty and magic of Tuscany.
Future
writing workshops are planned on the Aegean
Islands in Greece, South Wales and Provence.
